To conserve energy, we have installed solar panels on our Common House. Several home owners have also had them installed as well. This is an option for which many are making plans. All homes were built with solar in mind and most have high pitched roofs facing south. The high pitched roofs also aid in the use of rain barrels to keep our gardens green.
