Each of the four seasons bring beauty and surprise just outside our windows. Our 10 acre mature Oak Hickory woods are home to native animals such as deer, raccoons, possums, squirrels, insects, and birds. Birders consider our community a rich opportunity for unusual sightings. Trails and a nature learning center (that includes an earth lodge) make the woods an appealing retreat. Our two ponds have an earthen bridge between them and paths around their perimeter. Many migrating waterfowl stop here on their way south and north….and some elect to stay here all summer.
